From 2009-2011, I served as The Rocky Mountain Collegian’s Sports Editor, evolving our eight-man desk into an award-winning section, with both my writers and myself taking first-place in various competitions. In 2010, the Collegian was named the best college paper in the country.

Prior to becoming Sports Editor, I was was a beat reporter covering football and basketball.

My weekly column, The Weekly Blitz, took first place in the 2010 Society of Professional Journalists Region 9 Mark of Excellence Award.
